Happiness is – Day 5

Taking these soft idlis made out of freshhomemade batter smeared with idli molaga podi to a colleague who droll-ed over the idlis I took for diwali potluck.

She kept praising me all through the day whenever we passed each other and who doesn’t enjoy the praise? I was basking in the glory of her praise.

I took it in an Indian dabba as an additional touch 🙂

P.S: I didn’t eat it (watching on my carbs intake) and made batter with a new tip I learned recently. Grind urad dal and rice with ice cubes instead of water. Try it out ladies!

  1. Woman , you have serious self control ! I cannot resist soft idlis , even when I watching my carbs I did one or two. Btw , the ice trick works great. Does not heat up my Preethi. I don’t have a grinder. I use a combo of cold water and crushed ice. Also I have started soaking the urad and keeping it in the fridge overnight before grinding.
