Happy new year 2020

I seem to start the year with mixed feeling. It could be for multiple reasons which too shall pass.

Adi baked chocolate brownie for New year’s eve and we had a nice family chat at kitchen table with brownies and sparkling cider. Kids are growing fast is all I could think of during that entire conversation. We spoke about what is in store for the kids in 2020. LHB wants to skip his school and join Akka at college. And he will marry her later so they don’t have to miss each other at all 🙂

LHB is at this age with full of life. He never has a dull moment. He finds ways to melt and race my heart every single day. Yesterday, he declared me as Majesty. He made my subjects (Adi and M) bow to me when I came to the table and made a red carpet for me with all his plush dolls lined up on either side of the path. I got the first glass of cider and everyone else was asked to line up to toast with me as I am the majesty 😀

I did feel like a majesty and enjoyed the special attention while it lasted

We played board games after, watched best of America got talent and called it a day after watching NY ball drop at 12am.

I am truly thankful for all that life has blessed me with in 2019 and looking forward to a more humble and healthy new year and be there for those who need me.
